I haven't been aware of any issues, although it is not a common application.
Can I be updated on issues on the current job?

I do recollect that we have previously had chipping just at the end of the edge where the veneer didnt have any support. We overcame that by doing both cross-grain edges first and then the with-grain edges second which removed any chipped corners. Steve Donno
I noticed a sample on the desk which had splintering off the face on the middle of the edge. Don't think I've ever seen that before. Presume we've checked cutter direction of rotation and sharpness.

Colin Beattie When rebating PHD the edges along the grain chipped very badly. Steve fixed this by doing on panel saw.

It seems we have an issue with CV Group and their veneering. This job was MR MDF but still a problem which the factory has found a way of getting around. I am getting Blackbutt and Spotted Gum veneer from Timberwood panels as I suspect we will get better results.
